Day 146 - What a gift

My oldest turned 7 today. Just looking at him and all of the ways that God made him unique and amazing gives me so much hope for the future. For his, mine, and for all of us. Life is so precious and I am so grateful that God entrusted me to be his mother and to help build him into the man that He has planned.

What a gift.

This blog details 2012 and my life centered in hope after an arduous year. We all need hope in our lives; to believe that life can and will get better. But, we need the kind of hope that is not just wishful thinking; we need the kind of hope that is based in faith. The kind of hope centered around the blessings that God promises us in His Word. The kind of hope that puts who we are and where we want to go in perspective. The kind of hope that allows us to live a more joyful and spirit filled life, because we expect things to happen, we don't just wish for them. My hope is that my journey can inspire your journey.
